..Dam that is a huge toll plaza.....In that pix I see cars exiting at the lower right side of the photo, almost like a make shift hole in the fence, do you know what is going on there or why?......restroom stop?

that road is not part of the expressway , it is a narrow lane that connects interior parts of the village with the city. It happens to come out beside the toll plaza.

Very enjoyable photos and descriptions. I'm surprised to see how far India has embraced urban sprawl. Yes, a lot of it seems to be high density, but it's still homogenous, segregated zoning. That's truly sad as those suburbs will never truly integrate into the more exciting parts of the city. I think India needs to embrace mid rise density, as well as mixed zoning in new areas. That large apartment zone under construction in your pictures is so depressing. Entirely planned for automobiles, the buildings have virtually no pedestrian realm, and there doesn't even appear to be retail in the buildings' podiums. At least there's that Vancouver style metro system. Aside from the planning disaster, these new areas actually look great. Especially that middle class apartment complex
