Really, the brown one? The window pattern on the sides is terrible.

I've eaten that that McDonald's a few times.

I can also tell you some really interesting stories about that neighborhood after dark back in the 1980's and early 1990's.

I remember the days of the Copacabana in the 90s-early 2000s. That Mickey D sure came in handy.

That is 475 Tenth Avenue.

No worries about this building. It’s not located on any known proposed Hudson Yards/ Boulevard development sites. It happens to be one of my favorite buildings within the yards.

The location is on the South West corner of West 36th and 10th just right across the BP gas station. This is located just North of the proposed Related / Spitzer site.

Who said your post was offensive? Annoying is a better term, doesn't need to be posted about 15 times.. overkill

It's going to literally transform the West side as other developments follow along nearby....almost like a whole new city where nothing of consequence existed there before. More taxpayers, more steet life, more urban excitement, and especially MORE soaring towers!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's really hard to fathom.

I agree, but that is the charm of these large scale transformations. It requires visionary thinking.

and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. --- > otherwise just some stupid plan in someone's head. Whoever has the balls to risk that money is the true visionary. Not the politco, the designer, etc.. It's the person(s) with the money and the appetite for visionary risk taking that is the true unsung hero. Mr. Ross is one of the primary heros indeed. His name needs to go up there in bright lights as a testament to his belief in NYC's growth and future.

You are, per usual, correct. I was talking to a New Yorker a few weeks ago who had no idea why the 7 line was extended. They said nobody ever goes over there!

Well, you can't blame em. It will be many many years from now until it's actually all done and most people don't follow it with the interests as we do here.

I mean most people are ignorant about most of the upcoming technological changes as well like robotics, nanotechnology, etc, which will change the world as well.

People will become interested once buildings are actually being build. A lot of people will find it very interesting but right now, if you tell people this and say, yes it will be all here in....2025, people are like, meh...okay...lost interest.
