It was supposed to be Ben Crawford with HOK. Though I dont know how this works. I guess HOK is like the main architect and gets others involved?

That would be interesting if its taller than LA's newest skycraper.

HOK is designing the preliminary plans...

They are going to have a competition to design the building itself.

Tallest building outside NY and Chi town, and AT&T would be allowed to put their logo on the side. I wouldn't doubt it ether. What I really want to se is a new corporate entity being pulled from another city moving all their people to Dallas.

I think AT&T IS due for a new building. No doubt they'd have a logo on it but I dont care.

Agreed we need another major corporation here. I actually wouldnt even mind seeing a European or Asian company.....with their own tower. Maybe with Toyota moving here other Japanese companies could follow. Komatsu Tower has a nice ring to it.

I think AT&T is ether about to put their down town tower through a major remodel (which is desperately needs) or will commission a new tower of jump into this one.

I know it's nothing final but it looks ~750'

Was definitely expecting taller

The design is nice (yea I see some devon tower in there)but I dont like the height. Looks 700ft compared to the 720ft fountain place behind it.
This spot has NO height limit. Take advantage and build taller! Cmon Perot. Be a man of vison. Anything less than 800ft...is ugh.(supertall is what we really want)
On the bright side it would add a lot of thickness to the CBD. Another 700ftr is always welcome. This aint over yet though.

I'm happy with the design. Even if the final height was 700ft. I'll still take it over what Dallas has be building this decade. It's time to break that streak!

You know what this thing really looks like? Something our big brother down the street is already building. 609 Main Street. Looks to be the exact same size too.

Oh Dallas. The design is already growing on me. I really like it. Hopefully they can make it taller before finalizing it. 609 main is 48 stories. I count around 50 stories for ours.

The design is too plain to be honest. It's not tall enough either. We want a signature tower, not another generic and sterile glass giant. Hopefully, since this is just the first phase, the design of this tower will evolve into something far more prolific and iconic.

I know the design isn't final but for now I agree with this. I was expecting a new tallest honestly. This is a nice addition but it's hard to really get that excited about a ~750' building when Dallas already built higher buildings 2 decades ago.

The design is nice, and would look good at 300+ meters for sure
