Upgrading the works of the Haramain HSR

The situation in late November was this:

Area / kilometer point / Location / Delivery Phase 1 / Delivery Phase 2
Area 1 / 013-075 / Mecca-Jeddah / scheduled for December 2015 / if it is true it will be delivered in August 2016
Area 2 / 075-109 / North Jeddah-KAIA airport link and stub / scheduled for December 2015 / if it is true it will be delivered in August 2016
Area 3 / 109-180 / link-Rabigh Airport KAIA north KAEC / December 2014/ 40 km terminated
Area 4 / 180-291 / KAEC Rabigh north / April 2013 / July 2015
Area 5 / 291-375 / intermediate zone KAEC-Medina / May 2013 / July 2015
Area 6 / 375-449 / to Medina / November 2014 / October 23, 2015

Remember (again, and it takes) deadlines for signature of contracts:
Phase 1 (platform) by the consortium Al Rajhi Alliance: end on 5 April 2012. Following the project added some bridges and other structures (especially in the area 1) for a total of 853 M € (an increase of 59 % of the initial award), so the completion was extended until 31 December 2014.
CAPEX Phase 2 (infrastructure and superstructure) by the Spanish-Saudi consortium Al Shoula Group: November 2016.
Phase 2 OPEX (operation with travelers) in charge of several Spanish companies Al Shoula Group: December 2016. For 12 years, extendable to 17.

The Saudi transport minister announced on July 18, 2015 that the stretch KAEC-Medina enter service in late 2015. Now, that's the news, we know that the Spanish consortium developed and delivered a plan to carry it out, with its economic assessment. This proposal was not answered, only by the statements of the minister own the November 2, 2015: "no delays for putting the line into service in late 2016; because of the magnitude of the work on the bridges between Mecca and Jeddah some may think that there are delays, but we have asked contractors to increase their human resources and timetable will be met. "

A fully operational, is the date of delivery of Phase 2. In July 2015 ended the area 4 and the 14th of the same month testing began with the first train in this area: north of Rabigh-KAEC.
