Looks awfully like a private mansion. I also note that it bears a resemblance to the Aqua in Chicago, though I believe this will be shorter?

Yes! I'm actually the first one since the photos are from Wednesday February 8th! We've got cladding!

CetraRuddy's Midtown Skyscraper Now Half-Way Up, See New Renderings of Its Landscaped Deck
March 9, 2017
Quote:
When we last checked in on Algin Management’s 62-story rental project, the 700-foot-tall high-rise was just emerging above street level. Now the curvaceous high-rise has rocketed some 35-stories into the Midtown West skyline, well past its halfway point. Now several of its lower floors are being enveloped by a sexy facade of curved glass and aluminum panels.

More DETAILS & RENDERINGS in the post here.

Overall I love this.

Here are a few couple nitpicks:
• Those exterior ledges and faux columns will block the views from inside (similar to Shanghai Tower's exoskeleton but to a much lesser extent). I would have placed the faux columns closer to the windows for less blockage.
• The ledges could also be sloped on the tops for drainage and less collection of crap, bird nests, debris, etc. This would also allow for better downward views while still maintaining the same look while viewing the building from outside.

^ I think this will be one of the best looking high rise rental buildings in the city when done. My office is a few blocks away at 1585 Broadway, and the cladding looks great.

Nice facade. it would have even been better with round corners.

I haven´t expected this one to have such a skyline impact. Nice addition.

I didn't expect it to be so slender now that it seems close to topping out. It looks so good! I think this will be one of my favorites in Manhattan
