Neat progress on the cladding, but + 2 floors within 2 weeks isn't that impressive.

I count one more floor, but yeah, this is hardly 800m in 3 months territory.

One floor more is one floor more as long as they keep going up.

And as far as I remember, they have not published this building to be some record breaking construction. They did that with Sky City One, not with J97, please someone correct me if I'm wrong!.

Yeah I checked that out too. From the 7th to 11th or so, steel's stopped on what seems to be the 20th floor (or 21st which is still unfinished). I wonder if they just ran out of pieces or something easily explainable? But either way, Vic did make a good point. J97 is to prove more importantly that the technique works and can be built in a safe fashion, not rush with solely speed in mind.

Even if they take two or three days to raise a steel floor, this building's done in less than a year more or less and it gives their team good building training for J220. Hopefully they'll get the go ahead once this tower can be shown to the government or authorities that Broad knows what it's doing and it works.

We may have to wait another year or more for J220 but at least we can watch this one go up.

Since all modules already have utilities build in they are more vulnerable to the element, that's why we see so many tarps on the still "opened" sections of the building, and why they want to make sure cladding catches up. I believe they now need to revise the procedure so cladding follows up at a faster pace.

^Looking at the cranes' hooks it seems to be taken on a holiday or not working hours.

The cranes also didn't move up since the last update, and nothing new appears to have been installed.

Apparently they are having problems providing enough steel on site.

There are no renders, but I'm assuming it will look just like the Yuanda Tower.

The shape of the building looks awesome and the cladding in the render is wonderful .
Unfortunately, the cladding put up in the building under construction is not the same as in the render. The current one in the building under construction is ugly and I hope that is not the final cladding.
