New motorway projects (see new thread!)

The list should contain all under construction new motorway and expressway sections which have been opened for traffic since 1st January 2014. The list is frequently updated.
It's currently not comprising all countries of the world which depends on many reasons like incomplete data or different road standards.
If you want to add your country's project list, please post all required and known information within the country's thread. Please refer to the legend for required standards.

History:

Summary of 2014 openings (by country/by date/km per country)

Legend:

<Numbering>: <section from ... to ...> <Length> km (<start of construction> to <estimated opening>/<actual opening>) [optionally: <comment>] - project pagemap
c/w = carriageway, i/c = interchange, AS/AD/AK = interchange (German version)

The definition of motorway and expressway status is country-specific. The subsequent definition describes the pre-conditions which must be fulfilled to add new projects:

New motorways and expressways are projects which are currently under construction or have been opened since 1st January 2014.
The pre-conditions to be added to the list are based on the Convention on road traffic done at Vienna on 8th November 1968. The future road:
- must feature 2 carriageways with each 2 lanes
- must be grade-separated
- should be access-controlled
- does not have U turns to travel in reverse
It doesn't matter if the future road will feature hard shoulders.
A median is not mandatory but there must be a fixed barrier between the carriageways, for instance guard railing.
If a 2nd carriageway is planned but not yet u/c, the project is added if the other pre-conditions - except barrier - are already fulfilled.
Projects which were under construction but are suspended now, are added too, if the completion is still planned by the countries demand plan.
In addition, roads will be added which will be rededicated to motorway or expressway status of the respective country.
Widening projects are not included.
The opening date does not refer to the completion of the works but to the official opening of the road.

"New motorways" could mean recently opened motorways. A better title would be "Motorways under construction".

Since you're including extensions, why not the A5 in Austria?

I also include roads that will be rededicated (e.g. A448.de). The list only contains u/c motorways at the moment. After completion of the first new motorway I will not remove the project but I will change the color red --> green, see this list. I wrote "happened or expected openings" .

It is not yet u/c, see project page.

True. I thought all sections are u/c. Is the project page outdated? There are also more A1 sections u/c but I have to less information about what is really u/c (outdated project page?) . The A2 sections are also looking strange b/c I have no information about start and end of construction. I am hoping anyone could help to complete the Serbian list.

PS: There are a lot of question marks left, e.g. the month of construction start in Bosnia, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland,... No project page link of the Bulgarian, Czech and Romanian projects,...

Italystf, the SS roads are not highest class as MichiH requested. Plus, A36 is not all in construction right now. Only 2 lots are.

I've added Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.
I've also modified A5.ch and M43.hu.

Numbering? Is the entire 95km section u/c? Will the entire section be opened at once?

Technically this is going to be an expressway, not a motorway. Numbering has not be decided yet. To my knowledge, only a couple of lots are u/c one near a4 an the other near bassano if i'm not mistaken. Don't know if they are going to open strech by stretch bur the whole road is scheduled to be ready around 2017.

Obviously only Axx are autostrade. All other roads I mentioned are superstrade (at least 2x2, full grade separation). MichiH said that motorway-like roads will be included in a second time, so I anticipated (it's obvious that SSxx aren't autostrade in Italy).

All SSxx plus the Pedemontana Veneta are expressways. They're basically like motorways, but have blue signs and 110 speed limit. Minimum width for new expressways is 22m, for motorways is 24,5m. Of course some old motorways and expressways are narrower. Expressways are currently all toll-free, the Pedemontana Veneta will be the first tolled expressway (width 24m, almost a motorway but 110 s.l. ). Its number it's still not known. Works are currently ongoing in different stretches but not along its entire lenght. However they will start soon since the official opening date is 2016, but knowing past Italian projects, it wouldn't surprise me if it opens in 2018 or later.

The Variante di Valico will open in 2015 (initially was planned in 2013) all together. Some parts are already completed but since it's an alternative to the current A1, it won't make any sense to have half of it open, not connected to the A1 at both ends.

EDIT: Spinoza already replied.

Motorway width should be 25m not 24.5. Pedemontana veneta is 24.5, thus expressway, but maybe I remember wrong.

Sorry, my mistake. However I remembered that there was that 0,5m difference that prevented that road from being classificated as a motorway.
Stupid decision, if you ask me. Drivers will still need to pay like a motorway, but with the disvantage of driving at no more than 110 even with good weather and low traffic in what it looks like exactly a motorway (0,5m in a 4-lane highway is unnoticeable at naked eye).

The Bochum ring road is a state road (L705). The road is 2x2 and is currently renewed. After completion of the eastern extension (map) the entire western and southern Bochum ring road will be dedicated (renamed) to A448. The German Autobahn network will increase in 2017 by 7.8km - due to a redidication.

What does the number 12 mean? It's everywhere.
