The thing I liked is 4 lanes on each side. This section is highly populated and need that.

It will stand on pillars. Cables will be just for beautification.

Flyover will be supported by pillars. These cables are just for beautification. And the design is not finalized yet. Not sure if they give it the look of cable-stayed bridge or left it as it is in the future.

Have you noticed in this video that HCS has rented some very expensive trailers with wood paneling for their project directors. This is often seen in Pakistan where construction management spends a major portion of project money on their luxuries. I am sure a five star hotel is catering lunch to them everyday to their very comfortable, air conditioned trailers.

I see this often with FWO but Did not expect this from HCS. They should spend this money on the project like buying helmets for workers, controlling dust etc.

Might as well be for beautification but I have a feeling its not entirely because of that.

This major flyover round about might have some structural issues. In the sense...that cables might help to stabilize the bridge during heavy traffic.

This bridge is the 'box and girder' type, the only type of bridge Pakistani engineers know how to design and build. The steel cables are purely for decoration as such type of bridges don't need such reinforcement.

Cables are for both purpose beautification and supporting the bridge.

HCS is a private company and they can do anything they want as long as they're doing it with their own money. If they're looking after their engineers then I would say it's a good thing.

FWO is a state enterprise and should be more careful of spending too much. But there's also the issue of hiring and keeping the best employees.

It would be great if they ban all the chingchis in this area. What is the purpose of all this beautification when this noise factory "chingchi" will remain there? It gives a look of some "pind" when you go there. Start a "Double Decker" bus or tram service!
