Oh, I'd love to see a realistic view of what Manhattan would look like in 2020 or 2025 when all of the U/C and approved towers are finished.

Looks like its too thin to be commercial
But hey, if a business is OK with it go for it.

Also, 1.22 million square foot. Doesnt 40 Wall Street and most other older buildings have as much square footage? New towers nowadays don't seem to be utilizing all the avialble space for luxury.

The East side is looking a bit forlorn there and it needs some love (432 Park notwithstanding). The West Side is where all the action is gonna be. I hope they pass that rezoning soon as we don't want an unbalanced looking Midtown.

This property could potentially purchase more sq ft that would bring it to 2.5 mil

Corrected. Seriously though, I hope that New York sees a real proposal with a roof height of 500m+. Now that would be something.

I honestly wish for this design for the Hudson Spire to be used.

Depends on how minimal the design really is. If the facade has minimalist qualities but the overall shape isn't boxy, then I'm all for it. I generally like spire-like towers. If it's gonna be tall, I'd prefer a pointy/tapered top.

Amazing how many new and above all extremely thin / tall towers NYC is going to get. Now 2 or 3 600+ and it would def keep it's place as the number 1 ssc.

The design is nice but - just like WTC1 - i would get rid of the antenna.
