The owner of this site is in litigation with its tenant, a shoe store (NY Top Brands) at the base, which is holding up demolition of the third building at the site.

I walked by today. The remaining store, Top Brands Shoes, definitely seems closed.

Hopefully, Rawlins Architects comes up with a decent design. Most of their projects are junk, but I hope that something acceptable is built here.
