This area has been forlorn for years, but is rapidly bouncing back. It has many stunning buildings such as these across the street from the site.

I didn't realize that Victor acquired 273 and 275. It seems that they don't have 277 which sits in the middle.

http://commercialobserver.com/2014/1...dings-for-35m/

As per Acris, the 277 was last sold in 1996. Since it sits squarely in the middle of the assemblage. Therefore, the owner of 277 can have Victor over a barrel.

The developer owns everything but for the nice white tower in the middle of the site and the nice brownstone on the south end of the site. It needs the middle one but not the one at the end.

On East 30th, the developer owns No. 2, the junky tenement which is just east of the north facade of 281 5th. I assume that it will try to acquire the brownstones to the east of that and the junky white parking garage, which I believe is being marketed by Massey Knackal.

Here's a view from in front of the 30th side of the site looking west.

Since this is still a sub-prime area, Many developers go the cheap route. It would be nice for someone to invest in the future because this area has massive potential.

I agree! I really hope that 42nd Street vision becomes a reality, cuz that would really tap into the areas full potential.

The best part about any developments on this corner is that it fill partially conceal that blank wall on the Sky House.

Is it just the two corner buildings coming down? This will be quite a sliver if so...
