This tower is disgusting. Im really sick of these ugly designs popping up with random cut-outs or protrusions. Vinoly is a hack and I wish he would **** off from the US.

The soon-to-be 52-story / 728-foot-high building is being designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects and will house 130 residences. no, its just a placeholder made by cityrealty. We have no idea what it might look like. It's supposed to be a supertall as per FAA studies.

I've been keeping my eye on 9 Dekalb. It's the Brooklyn supertall and is currently in prep. There's a piece of a building that needs to be demolished and then it will start rising. There has been noticeable progress on the demo/prep work over the past few weeks.

Funny you'd say that, since his tower at Grant Park in Chicago is actually easily his least offensive design of the last decade. It's still bad, but compared to the crimes against architecture he normally churns out it's actually kind of decent.
