TORONTO | Union Centre | 238m | 48 fl | Pro

Sorry only one render so far and the height has yet to be released. Easily 500ft plus though as this is 100% office.

Images are from the developers websitehttp://www.altusinsite.com

Replacing this.

Its actually going behind that building in the second pic, there is an unusually wide service ally that is going to be put underground instead.

This one is to be called "UNION CENTRE" at 48 stories.

All renderings courtesy of Urban Toronto.

This looks 200+ meters.. at 4 meters per floor and 60ft ceilings on the top floor, you get 198. give a bit for the taller initial floors (the entry plaza is easily 10m off the ground in the first place), and you easily get over the 200m mark.

I really like this proposal. It will make Union Station one of the best Train Stations in the world.

It's certainly a great location for a skyscraper as beautiful and sculptural as this.

This stretch just west of Union Station could turn into quite the show-stopper with this proposal, 156 Front West, and those Oxford twins all lined up one after the other.

This one looks very nice. Elegant curves, shiny modern glass.

This is 239m so perhaps the title can be changed?

We have hope.

Allied Properties REIT joins Toronto’s office construction boom as tenants reject older towers for new spaces

http://business.financialpost.com/n...._lsa=2780-1449

"Emory is seeing enough demand in Toronto that he’s optimistic of filling the 1.2 million-square-foot Union Centre, a two-minute walk from the subway station of the same name that carries thousands of downtown workers daily. Allied is talking to several large tenants who could take as much as 600,000 square feet, he said."

Since I began on this website in 2005 people have confidently been predicting the "bubble" was going to burst any moment.
