This airline has a comparatively smaller number of B757 aircraft than AA, DL, and UA... and this type will be retired soon (in 2017).

That airline won't exist in 2017 anymore.

But AA will likely retire the domestic 757 fleet coming from US Airways in 2017, the current US Airways international 757 subfleet will stay longer in AAs fleet.

Yeah, especially that both AA and US use a lot of B757s for its domestic operations. The integration of both airlines sure poses a lot of challenges, especially with an incredibly diverse fleet (and sub-fleets). Most especially challenging would be the wide variety of seating layouts for one type of aircraft... it's like asking the question, "which aircraft will be assigned to what route for the day?"

The 757 flight deck utilises an integrated flight management system, with cathode ray displays and electro-mechanical instruments used in combination to display aircraft flight and system information.

I know they use several different aircraft to test avionics to include engines, radar, and weather avoidance.
