I even miss Warsaw here, but I expect Polish forumers to do so since they have a pretty beautiful downtown.

If it's just about height, shut this thread down. You already have Moscow and Frankfurt. There is no need to discuss anything unless we are blind enough to see that those cities have the tallest towers.

If we take into account other criteria, I don't really get your post.
The title of the thread is BEST European Skylines. Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, the Hague, Birmingham are no where near the best. You might like the Hague or Madrid. I do too! I am especially in love with the Hague however they don't match with this thread in terms of quantity or quality. So basically this thread is about London, Istanbul, Moscow, Paris, Frankfurt and Warsaw. We have another great thread that welcomes all the other European skylines.

Best.

Moscow surprised me, I always ranked them as 4th behind Frankfürt, Paris and London. For me Moscow is the number one. What a progress did they make.

And for the low ranked city. It's nice to see that Rotterdam have a local competitor The Hague.

sorry but I think warsaw is very far away from beeing on of the BEST Skylines in Europe. Rotterdam and madrid would be fit more in this thread than warsaw. But they also don`t belong. So my opinion: Moscow, Frankfurt, London, Istanbul and Paris (only because of density). No other city for the next decades...

Guys, whatever skyline you post, just be prepared to back up why you think it belongs on the thread.

Naples CBD is interesting because it was projected and built as a whole, so there is this sort of utopian feeling. Also, unlike Paris' Defense, it is located right next to the historical center of town. It's all a pedestrian area, with underground tunnels for cars. Pretty cool, really Le-Corbusier style. It's a very dense area as well.

The cons are the lack of integration with the older architecture, the under-utilisation of both office and public spaces, the worn-out look of the pedestrian spaces and the lack of dynamism in the skyline, which lacks movement and height.

A couple of 180-200m tall tower would change everything, placing Naples among the european top 10 skylines, IMHO.
