I didn't know that, because I didn't read anything about that in this forum.

But geographically Georgia is located in Asia. In Germany they teached us so from the first school. They telled us that Europe is located north of the Caucasus and west of the Ural. The map I am sitting next to at this moment tells me the same. The georgian flag is pictured under Asia. But maybe the teach you something different in other countries.
So I just thought that the thread shoulden't be spamed with too much countries

But if it was decidet so we can also post here photos of Baku, Yerevan and Kasakhstan (A Part of Kasakhstan is really located in Europe).

Crazy list in my opinion.
St. Perersburg has a really beautiful historical skyline, but I think there doesn't exist a real modern skyline.

The shard looks like the Eye of Sauron Tower from Lord of The Rings there.

Yes, I learned the same thing in school too, but Georgia is a member of the Council of Europe, so we include it here.

And Belarus isn't, so it's excluded of this thread?
It's as a wrote before, I understood this thread so that we discuss the best modern skyline of the continent.
If we are going with organisations, we can also argue that Israel and Cyprus are members of the UEFA.
And Morocco took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in the past. So we can take them also to this tread.
French-Guiana is part of the EU. So we include them also here?

That's a proclamation to spam this tread.

We have to make clear what this tread is for. And than we really should treat all countries in the same.

I also have to change my Top-10 List then, because Astana belongs there. And Baku is also a candidate.

I don't see why it should be, but when it comes to best European skylines, let's be realistic and try to use a little common sense. I mean beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but come on guys! Is it really something worth arguing over when in many people's estimation, some of these cities wouldn't even be considered to have a skyline.

What's so hard to understand? Every country in the European section on Skyscrapercity can be included in threads limited to Europe. Since Belarus is a part of that section Belarusians are welcome to share pictures of Minsk when it gets a nice skyline. On the other hand Kazakhstan, Israel and Morocco aren't a part of that section so they aren't welcome to do so. Not sure about French-Guiana thou...

If you want this to change you should pm Jan.

I really don't see a problem in the way things are right now...seems to me you should calm dowm a bit and just accept, what the mods have decided No point in wasting space and time in this thread, when there is no problem. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT

Aarhusforever, your dedication to this thread seriously brings tears to my eyes. Thank you! Are there any highrises or skyscrapers in Denmark ? We would love to see a Danish skyline!
