That's true, but there are also continents with much less skyscrapers than in Europe.
For example, South America, Africa or Antarctic.

Moscow is only so high listed because they count something like that as skyscraper too:

I'm not russophobe, I've just been in St. Petersburg a week ago, I have no bad attitude against russians, just against people who think Moscow is the center and the benchmark of the world.

Hah, there's like no one and no claims that the Moscow center of the universe, the perfect capital of rich developed country (Russia, a developing country, I remind you). We just post pictures of Moscow, you might be straining the fact that there's so many pictures of your "favourite" city.

These are the usual sleeping areas, no one believes that this one is skyscrapers or even highrises, because there is no even 75 meters in height ... This is generally a purely provincial home. I do not believe that such houses are built in Moscow. Moscow is just a huge city and the buildings above 100 meters are scattered throughout the city (city center, margins...) There is no single downtown. And it is not dirty, and St. Petersburg is not dirty, their cleanliness and cleaning spent a lot of money. In general, I do not know. Maybe European eye can see it all.

I apologize for my poor English and curve, just trying not to use google translate

I don't like Russians but this is another story.

For me Moscow skyline could be top 1 in Europe with money they have, but it needs more centralised downtown also I think those skyscrapers in MIBC aesthetically don't fit at all.

I do not think it is true that Europe has more skyscrapers than South America. Brazil alone probably has more high-rises than all of Europe.

I know we're on a skyscraper forum, but fellow Europeans; you don't have to be jealous of American or Asian skylines. Most European cities have a much, much larger quantity of historical buildings/blocks whom we should never want to demolish for modern skyscrapers. We have the unique opportunity to combine beautiful old with energizing new in a way that is only possible in Europe on such a large scale.

All I'm saying is that it's no use playing "who has the biggest wiener" in terms of skyscrapers, when European cities have so much unique historical sights while the skyscrapers will keep on rising beside them...

Agree. Europe, (north) America, and Asia all developed quite differently and that's fine. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. Sure this is a skyscraper site, but that Europe is managing to build some good skylines in such a short period of time is a great accomplishment. We here in Canada and the US have been building them for over 120 years. That's quite a head start.

No they count buildings above 100 meters. And in Moscow there are more 100+ meters buidlings, they count everywhere buildings above 100+ in the list.
But Moscow is way bigger than NY or LA,thats the reason why Moscow dont have a big sklyine, because there are big buildings everywhere not just in one place.

Moscow bigger than NY?

Do you mean it has more inhabitants within its municipality?

+100m:
Moscow: 124
New York: 696

I think we are experiencing a little (more) Moscow-megalomania.
