So? It is not about them but about country. But maybe you don't get the general idea. When we joined EU some working makets opened for Poland, it suddenly got very easy to get a job in Britain, Germany and others. This coused a wave of emmigration that wouldn't be possible if we weren't in the EU.

Everything has it's bright and dark sides.

As for the moneys from EU - we get the most, because we are the biggest new country in EU, I thing that is logical. But you have to use this money well. We do, having the biggest accumulated GDP growth in EU since 2004 from what I can remember.

And old EU countries are paying for us, yes (not forever tho) but on the other side you got new, big markets. And as we are getting weathier, more and more of this money is going back to you. Directly and indirectly.

So you can say that we are old EU's countries investement and insurance.
I don't completely agree ... in any case it is true that you spend well the money you receive and I don't dispute your efforts to grow. Since these discussions are totally off topic, should I open another 3D where we talk about the economic-social-cultural differences in Europe? It's a very interesting topic and as we can see we have different points of view.

This is really going off topic now, I'd suggest continuing your discussion in the DLM.

Paris may be a museum city at first sight, but you are the one living in the past here. Don't judge a book by its cover, cause behind the cute facades lies the first economic powerhouse of Europe

As for your statement, "London" was the first to flee the continent when "Paris" was paying for time at Dunquerke. Anyway !

Is that some provocation from the biggest troll of SSC ?
I didn't start anything, so please let me out of your childish behaviour.
Thanks, by advance.

I wouldn't say he is the biggest troll on SSC, but his opinions tend to be rather obnoxious and derailing of the subject matter. London isn't the greatest or most triumph city in the world as DCFC1 portrays it to be. His above comments should be deleted by a MOD and he should probably be put in the brig for trying to ignite more discord.

Regarding Paris, once Hermitage Plaza is completed it would be hard not to argue that Paris has the best skyline in Europe. It already has density and just needs the height of which Hermitage would provide.

Nice recovery though.
And the western Europeans can thank the American Marshall Plan.

For anyone who does not know: The Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was the American initiative to aid Europe, in which the United States gave $17 billion (approximately $160 billion in current dollar value) in economic support to help rebuild European economies after the end of World War II. - Wikipedia

No eastern European country got anything. I think a lot of western Europeans forget what the USA did for their economies.

That wasn't some attack from me.
As a French, I've a great respect for Poland. Napoleon doesn't forget the great contribution of Poland to the Great Army...
