My updated rankings:

1. Frankfurt (most American-looking skyline)
2. Istanbul (Great combination of towers, bridges and natural setting)
3. London (Nice mix of modern towers and old buildings, needs more towers though)
4. Paris (pretty dense skyline)
5. Warsaw (Next to Frankfurt, only major European city with a real downtown skyline)
6. Moscow (tall towers but too concentrated and over-designed, not many mid-rises)

I don't want to start a flame war or something but what is considered as best skyline in Europe? I guess there are two stronges contenders - London and Moscow, which one is more widely considered as best?

Surely London has the largest growth in addition to Moscow. But it definitely is not the best skyline, because the high-rise buildings are divided into two clusters.

For me, the two best skylines still Paris / La Defence and Frankfurt.
Moscow is massive, but it has no balanced Skyline. It is similar to Dubai.

They have the best overall package of number, density and height.
Warsaw approaches slowly at this point.

I agree with Klaus, London has the difficulty of having two major clusters, soon to be three. This inhibits it's overall impact, however, there are certain view points such as Shooters Hill where one can view the entire skyline, giving the impression of a single skyline that is rather impressive.

Moscow and Istanbul suffer the same problems, although, looking at the statistics in numbers, together they rival every other major European city added up, regarding the number of +100m buildings. Unfortunately because the towers are so sparsly located it fails to deliver a skyline they deserve. Moscow needs to bulk out it's new CBD with 100-200m towers, this would most likely make it number one in Europe.

Number one at the moment in my opinion is between Frankfurt and Paris.

My nominations by groups:
wide, massive and solid
Paris, Frankfurt, Benidorm (yep, very massive)
minimalist, elegant, very promising
Warsaw, Milan, Madrid, Vienna, Liverpool, Birmingham
perfect dutch style
Rotterdam, Hague, Amsterdam
High, clusters, unusual design
London (London Citi, Canary Wharf), Moscow (MIBC/Moscow City), Istanbul (Levent, Maslak)
Great future, great projects, underrated
Izmir, Ekaterinburg, Kiev
Not bad
Oslo, Barcelona, Vilnius, Tallin

If I forgot something, write your advices or opinions about my ranking)

You really think Kiev has got a great future and projects?
I don't think so, but yes it's underrated.
With the rest of your opinion I absolutely agree.

With all that potential, the result is quite disappointing though.
