I didn't know that characters like Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskind, Arata Isozaki, Cesar Pelli, Giò Ponti, Dominique Perrault and others that have designed skyscrapers/towers for Milan are "trash architects"...

Have you ever been to India, Malaysia and China? I'm sure you've never been there, unlike me. Kyiv is different from Mumbai is much more than Poland differs from Algeria.

1. I'm not interested in the opinion of Russians.
2. I don't much like the Kyiv skyline but I find it funny when people says that Milan skyline looks great. Even the Warsaw skyline looks a lot better than the Milan skyline.
3. Yekaterinburg looks ugly. I'm sorry but it's true.

Upd.

As we can see, the architecture of residential towers has changed dramatically over the last 10-20 years.

It's quite amazing how nationalistic some people get about skylines. Like it's some kind of measure of country's success.
Sorry a bit off-topic, but can't help it after coming from "best skylines of 2015" thread. At least this Europe thread has usually kept it relatively clean from this sad bickering.

I was comparing skylines or some postmodern highrises to be precise so it's pretty irrelevant. I'm well aware that this cities are quite different as a whole or at least from the pedastrian level.

That's much better indeed but the old stuff still seem to dominate and I'm pretty sure some of those monsters are pretty new btw.

The residential towers in Kiev are generally of a better quality than the concrete commie blocks in Mumbai. That said there is also no need to mock Milans skyline because someone from that city critisized Kiev.

Kiev is an impressively dense skyline with lots of 100m+ towers.
Kiev was building towers before many other European cities and in greater numbers. To compare kiev with Mumbai slums is ridiculous.

Calling Milan a poor skyline with poor quality towers is equally ridiculous. Milan has some of the best quality towers in europe and is a rapidly improving skyline.
Less nationalism is needed.

I don't really know much about Mumbai but it seem to me like at least normal middle class district, but it's probably more like upper-middle or something like that so not a slum at all.
