Also good! I advise you to go to Newfoundland or some other deserted areas where you don't have access to the internet.

I have an idea: speaking about architecture, we shouldn't use the words "beautiful" or "ugly". I would say that each city is unique for a simple reason: it is like a painting, a texture of colors, materials and shapes merged in a landscape. Each city is like a book of history: we have to say "thanks" to each building, palace, church, etc... because it tell us the stories of men and women of the past. Architecture is a creation of humanity: men have created it according to its own souls, thoughts, sense of aesthetics. Also architecture can help us to understand the reasons why people of a single city/country have used a precise style or construction technique. Architecture is a way to describe social aspects. As architect, I'm proud to see differences in the cities of the world: image our planet with same buildings, colors, shapes, stories. Totally bad.

With all the respect 'Amen', but you'll find the kind of buildings as you posted in # 8861 in the suburbs of Rotterdam. Here is a photo which was made in 2006 of Rotterdam and his suburban skyline

@Timeandtide Wow Paris' skyline is growing big these days, nice pictures!

@Amen Too bad you can't appreciate the Dutch and German architecture, you have no idea what you're actually missing. I am actually wondering where you are from, given your questionable opinion...
Have you ever been outside of the touristic centres in Spain, France, The Netherlands and Germany? Maybe come back with your more developed opinion on dutch urban planning after you have compared those areas too...

Guys, guys, guys... This discussion lacks substantial cultural context. It it one of the most important thing for a Russian to have a full glass. Preferably big glass or big jar if no glass is available. I guess Rotterdam looks way to sober for Amen...
