It's great to see Izmir booming, but they need to improve the architecture the sooner the better

No,but no european city can keep its skyscraper boom. Its only for a time.In 50 years(in 20) Moscow doesnt need 50 supertalls.Istanbul doesnt need. They doesnt need it now.Soon, they will all have big problems with empty skyscrapers.

Anyway, the best Skylines are London(central skylines),Rotterdam(i love the netherlands)Frankfurt(slowly growing, but will be the best if everything is built)and Warsaw(central skyline, looks good and growing). The best Skyline is never the highest, most dense Skyline, especially if it is a dead district,15 miles away from the City Center.A real Skyline must be in the City Center or near to it and should have a moderate height(not 15 piece of 400 Meter towers and grey blocks around it)Also these Skyscrapers should have a function which the city needs.

Can't you people be a little respectful towards each other? It is not like you own any skyscraper in any city. Just be nice. There is so much horrible stuff going on already. Look a lot of innocent people have been killed in France today, AGAIN! Be nice and talk positive in stead of all that dick measuring ego contest.

My current top ten

1st tier

1. London ... Easily the biggest and best city in Europe.. Anyone who disagrees is ignorant or stupid.

2. Moscow ..... That cluster is uber impressive.. and it's a massive city..

2nd tier

3. Madrid... Capital city and ooozing lustre .. it gets zilch on this site from the usual suspects ..

4. Amsterdam... Always will be above Rotterdam in the REAL world .. but NOT on this site for some reason lol lol

5. frankfort... I'm bowing down to the geeks on here who like the pics ! lol .. yeah it's ok .. but waaaaay over rated as a city .. (village lol )

6. Rome ... A skyline echoing thru history ...

3rd Tier

7. Warsaw ...A sea of Boring ugly commie architecture with pleasant shoots of 21st century creeping thru .. still a looooong way to go ..

8. Berlin ... Uber city with an uber history ... the future of Europe lies here ..

9. Paris... a Museum. Tourists are in heaven tho lol

10. Naples/Napoli .... never mentioned on here ... ever .. this site has it's OBSESSED posters lol lol

London is the only city in the world that is an alpha++ besides New York.If what you say is true, then the whole Europe economy will be dead in 50 yrs time which I highly doubt it will.Business enterprise will turn to Tokyo,Hong Kong or Seoul to be the replacement which they definitely could. In 50 yrs time those tall skyscrapers in London will still serve its purpose. What you said doesn't make any sense?

This is my list:
1)London-Is there any doubt?

2)Berlin

3)Stockholm

4)Zurich

5)Vienna

6)Geneva

7)Paris-Paris IMO is overrated. It's a nice city but it's not as good as some people praise it to be.

8)Helsinki

9)Warsaw

10)Rotterdam-Yup I picked it over Amsterdam.Rotterdam plays a bigger role as the financial business center.Amsterdam is known more of a place you want to relax.

Pretty simple (if we are talking about Western Europe)
1. London
2. Paris
3. Moscow
The list stops here if we are talking about skylines that can mix it with the rest of the world in terms of height and density....
Then there is a big gap...
4. Frankfurt
5. Milan
6. Warsaw
7. Naples
8. Rotterdam
Remember it's about height combined with density. Keep it real guys!

and Londons highrises are dense?

Everything is a bit too spread out. London isn't meant to be a city like NYC, Hong Kong etc. It's typical European - mostly flat.

Moscow, Paris and in the near future i think Frankfurt are more impressive when it comes to clusters.

Anyway, more pics less debates.

Could we vote for a brexit on this thread too? It could be nice to see pictures and talk between europeans on a kind and respectful way

I agree - just be 'nice' to each other. It is one of the best rules in order to achieve the highest of highest goals that are reasonably possible for human beings to achieve..... Always!

But be careful what you wish for, though. If the EU continues to favour big business over normal people - I guarantee you that Brexit is only the beginning of the decay of the EU!
Maybe Nexit will be next....and then what - you propose a Nexit for this thread...!? Or a Frexit, a Dexit or what have you...
Hope not. But these days anything could happen it seems. Imagine the amount of corresponding negative stereotypes between nations will arise in such a proces of disintegration. Scary isn't it!? So, whatever will happen, just be nice and lets not 'ban' each other!

For sure we live in interesting times...

Lets focus why we meet each other here in the first place - for instance these streetscenes from Rotterdam:
