What a great experience !

Only an avenue and the Seine river separates Paris and La Defense, that's not "far away". And both are part of the Grand Paris since 1st january 2016.

And no, this pic is not a fake, but maybe that your knowledge of Paris equal your expertise of Amsterdam's subway...

Which country is the most successful military power in European history ?
The Second Book of General Ignorance

“French romances occupy a central position in the development of medieval European
literature. Their most popular subject matter by far was the Arthurian legend, which, though it
had its origins elsewhere, was first cast in romance form in France: the Round Table, the
tragic love story of Lancelot and Guinevere, and the notion of the Grail quest were all French
innovations."

Yes, but it's a pity that most of skyscrapers of Benidorm are just tall concrete blocks

Anyways, some beautiful pictures can be taken depending on the daylight

my favourite tower of Benidorm is this one:

this is the southernmost part of Benidorm, it's like 11-12km of coast of just skyscrapers and high rise buildings! this is the least dense zone:

Benidorm it's also known as "European Hong Kong", 90% of Benidorm was built between the 60s and the 80s. But obviously it doesn't have the modern part of Hong Kong, but it's very similar to the residential skyscrapers from there (even slightly more beautiful I would say!)

forget the supertalls and the seafront part of Hong Kong and it's about the same thing (obviously we can't compare them, Hong Kong has that beautiful part of ultra modern skyscrapers, it's a massive city
with massive economy while Benidorm is a 80k population city which it's mainly based on tourism from people from other parts of Spain, specially people from Madrid or Basques and British people).

I do not know where did you live in Paris (or outside Paris?) but if you think that pic is fake you're simply wrong because that is one of the 'typical' perspectives of La Defense taken with Champes Elysees and Arc de Triomphe in the foreground.

Anyway, I think everybody here knows La Defense is outside of 'Paris ville', Paris municipality.
And everybody correctly considers it Paris as well, because it's clearly in Paris conurbation

This thread pertains to modern European skylines. If you wish to talk about the intricacies of public transport systems, then feel free to post in the Subways and Urban Transport section, otherwise please remain on-topic.

The truth is that Benidorm was meant to be a a Brasilian city but somehow they built it at the wrong coast...
