Accept it or i'm afraid your post will be considered trolling by the mods. We are finally back on track in this thread and don't need to argue

That "not the best" shot is actually the best picture of Istanbul I've seen :P

I believe that there physically cannot be a "Best" skyline. There are of course the obvious greats - but it comes down to taste whether or not they are your favourite.

In my personal opinion; London is the greatest City in the world and it has an amazing Skyline! But I am bias.... I live near London and go there a lot. I have been to various European Cities listed on here too and adored their skylines; but it still doesn't change the fact that I am bias to my own City.

London is my favourite. But all of the large Cities mentioned here have fantastic skylines with pro's and con's. Some of my other favourites arel; Frankfurt, Paris, Rotterdam, Milan, Warsaw, and... well..... all of them are good.

I know what you mean, but it was something that was agreed upon awhile back and Yellow Fever even posted a statement about it. We are including all of Russia and all of Turkey when taking into account European skylines.

I feel like those towers in Moscow would be ok separetly (at least some of them) but together it's just... too much. It's like they are trying too hard, everything must be gold, shiny, like a one, big show off, but at the end it just looks tacky, not impressive and surely not classy.
But it's just my opinion!

I agree with you, but as a group this is what we agreed upon.

My current top ten

1 London .. So much variety and so much quality and so big.... Chaotic and sprawling and beautiful...

2. Moscow... Impressive and glitzy and ongoing .. massive city ...Essential city.

3.. Frankfurt .. Still in my top 3 and is very photogenic .. small city in this league so needs to up a few gears to stay in contention..

4 .Istanbul ... Massive city ooozing potential and history .Sprawling skyline ..Centre of the universe.

5. Paris...Super blocks of rectangular skyline away from historic core..

6.. Warsaw.. Needs more quality but impressive none the less ...Happening city ..

7.. Rotterdam .. Same as Warsaw.. and on a par really ..

8..The Hague.. .. Creative and impressive skyline needing more structures ..

9....Milan .. Happening city .. needs many more buildings to compete but astonishing developments there none the less..

10.. Vienna .. Historic city with a neat skyline ..
