You can't compare both cities. Skyscraperwise Frankfurt is on a total different level already boasting several Towers at 250m+ and 200m+ and many more around 180m - and Frankfurt keeps adding more and more towers. Cities like Paris, London, Frankfurt are adding to their existing skylines, while Manchester ist just starting... currently Manchester ranks below Warsaw, Rotterdam and Milan... London ist outbuilding everyone else, but hey its London, so no suprise here.

Maybe, maybe not, but Frankfurt is not only building skyscrapers... currently Terminal 3 is u/c at the International Airport (top 3 Airport in Europe and #1 Cargo Airport in Europe and top 10 in the world) + plans for Europe's second largest and most advanced state-of-the-art multipurpose arena and major expansion plans concerning the Football arena are underway (up to 70,000 seats possible). Further, some major Downtown shopping mall expansion plans as well. The Exposition area located right next to downtown is also expanding (currently ranks #3 in the world). Frankfurt is also expanding its historical quarter by adding dozens of historic buildings destroyed during the war (u/c). Brexit will trigger even more and bigger projects... but you guys have ManU and ManCity, I'll give you that.

Manchester is undergoing an amazing transformation at the moment, very soon it will be incomparable to the Manchester of the 90's.

Comparing Manchester to Frankfurt is futile however, Frankfurt is a financial capital in a far more decentralised, balanced nation.

Manchester (like all other UK cities outside of London) has stagnated over the past 50 years, and is only now starting to flourish. All going well, in 20 years there may be grounds for comparison with the top European cities but for now we're comfortably sat in the second tier, but very excited at the progress that's being made.

Thanks for fighting Manchester's corner so enthusiastically though
