Everytime we built a 1st stage of any line, the probabilities to extend it grows exponentially

^^ The article illustrating with photos Chinese CRH380A walking China from end to end. :)
Mexico-Queretaro are 212 km and the journey lasts 59 minutes.
I guess what they mean is that HST will normal seats: reclining and rotatable in the same direction of travel of the train.

youre right, in this other article they says that the 1st class will have all seats in the same direction of the travel, while in the tourist class some of the seats will face contrary direction.

What are the distances Mexico-Tijuana and Mexico-Cancun, respectively, by train?

as far as we know there are japanese companies participating but no japanese consortium confirmed, so is probable that japanese are only participating as investors or as complimentary providers of (for example) communication and security systems in a joint with a consortium led by someone else.

about korean no information at all.

right now we are in an "hermetic" stage of the process, since the tender is open and the deadline is getting closer and closer.

Nice reclining seats..
I've had A similar idea only with more luxury options & privacy.
Bit strange to post .Italo shots after posting CRH380 pic's though. (even if it's to compare some differences between different classes.)

yeah, I never saw Alstom truly interested, they never made official declaration or took it seriously, they were more worried because of Metro Line 12 sue. Siemens since a year ago has been saying they want to win this, as well as Bombardier. CAF and the CRCC are interested since 2013 also, they have had more than enough time to notice this is serious project, no joking.

president Peña is 100% serious, better dont take his word as a joke.
