is wrong, that is the tender for the management of the civil works only, not the new tender for construction and provider of rolling stock.

SCT always said that there will be a dedicated management to supervise all the works, this is the tender for that.

I think the word you're looking for is management. (Gerencia?)

Mexico's Ministry of Transportation just signed today a "Transparency and Accountability Best Practices Support Agreement" with The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

This Agreement will "help Mexico to conduct a transparent bidding in regard to its first High Speed Railway".

Don't forget the bidding process starts on January 14th.

Why posting a Bombardier-Zefiro photo?

I know you just posted it because of the Mexico-like colors, but Bombardier will not participate anyway.

Best regards.

Mexico's Ministry of Transportation just opened the bidding process (lets call it bidding process 2.0) moments ago.

http://www.elfinanciero.com.mx/empre...queretaro.html

The results will be made public on July 31th.

Construction will begin next August 2015.

And yes.....lets get this sh***t done!

The most probable is that this project be cancelled definitely, as I predicted after the cancellation of the signature for the contract of the 1st tender, because the circumstances changed 180°.

The project is 100% politized.

There are many other infrastructure projects ongoing in Mexico right now, as the new airport, more trains, etc, so the competition for funds in next year's budget will be wild.

Is urgent we have the contracts signed.

It was an historic mistake made by the Secretary Ruiz Esparza.

Official bidding process starts tomorrow.

If Mexico's Ministry of Transportation doesn't publish the bidding tomorrow, as expected, the Project will die.

Projects of this scale, with numerous interested parties, are by definition political to the core. Unfortunate, but it is what it is.

Official bidding has been postponed until further notice. Mexico's Ministry of Transportation said it won't publish the bidding today since "there are at least 8 international companies that have provided us with good remarks in regard to make this process even more attractive".

Bidding expected in two weeks (once all the tender's comments have been correctly addressed).

They are following the path of Brazil, giving opportunity for everyone to make a remark on this project, giving everyone the opportunity to interfere and give an opinion on issues they ignore completely.

In Brazil for doing so, the project has simply gone anywhere in the last 10 years.

Making the same mistakes as Brazil creating more and more deadlocks in the bases of the new tender.

You're not going to go anywhere for the next 10 years following this style of doing things.

Sometimes I believe that they finally fallen in the trap by oppositionists who are not interested at all on this project going forward, but postpone and postpone and boycott Mexico.

Reforma, Carmen Aristegui, the PAN, Latin American leftish should be absolutely happy with this result. Mexico is not going to have High Speed Rail.

The opportunity is gone, it was the 1st tender, now everyone have their teeth over this project.

Congratulations to all those who believe in "transparency", "democracy", "competence" and more naive concepts which are never absolute and never achievable without any uncertainty.

Now you will have more social programs and less infrastructure. Congratulations for you wisdom mexican opinocratas.
