Snapped a few photos this PM, just before the rain started.

This pup has shot up awfully fast:

Note the color of the garage's curtain wall:

It's going up way too fast. I bet the building will be complete before they even launch the website.

What do you mean by "too fast"? Is there a "too fast" for construction?

Because the construction began on January 2005 and the windows are installed on August 2005. Yeah, that is "too fast."

I think this is going to turn out much better than I ever thought it would. I really like the color on the garage.

I'm really diggin' this tower. I didn't like the original renderings, but it's really looking nice especially w/ the glass going on.

It's just much narrower than I ever expected. I don't know why... it just looked like another squat tower from all those early renderings. But, as this thing has started to grow away from the parking garage, you realize just how slender and sleek it really is. Looks like it will be a fine add'n to the 'Ville.

Yeah, that rendering seems much more accurate than some of the early perspectives we saw.

Grabbed a few shots on Sunday night. Sorry for the quality and strange lighting.

Picage.

She's so slender... she looks VERY tall in person.

View looking north from behind the BC/BS building on Randolph

And... at long last... I can see the Streeter rising above Time Life from my house )

^Great shots, Geoff. Is that a canyon I see forming on the right? Nice. It will look even better when Phase II of the Streeter (the 2nd highrise) gets built

Now that you bring that up, has anything been released regarding the 2nd phase?

Is this almost topped out what? It's been moving so fast for so long, it should almost be there by now, right?

Probably very close to being TO I think. The website says that apartments will be available by this summer (they also have amenities/floor plans listed now).
