What do people want to count? Roof height? Spire? Antennas? I usually use roof height, but think spire height would be fine. Antennas shouldn't be included imo.

Edit: London has 11 buildings between 200 and 299.9 m. I admit that I completely forgot that Wood Wharf is currently under construction!

Shenzhen has 77+ 200-299m buildings uc,to or com according to the skyscraper center if we include skyscrapers in preparation stages which the skyscraper center doesnt count it might be closer to 110 or so(according to gaoloumi it is 180+ but they seem to count prep differently and this include several towers with unknown heights and vague information).

Boston has 2 completed, 1 more T/O, 1 more U/C, and likely 1 more that will be in Prep stage by the end of the year. So a nice little jump from 2 to 5 after a 40 year wait between 2 and 3. Also, there are 2 more proposals that could jump this total to 7 by 2020 or so.

I know only Seoul, Incheon and Busan. Never heard of the other cities. I'm assuming they are not big cities... but for a small country with not so big population that's Impressive nonetheless.

Some of them are part of metro Seoul but agree that it's still impressive for a country of 50 million people. According to that list above there are 63 such buildings in South Korea. That's more than 1 for every 1 million South Koreans.

Other good showings:

UAE: 73 buildings in a country of 6 million.
Singapore: 30 buildings in a country of 6 million.
Malaysia: 63 buildings in a country of 31 million.
Australia: 36 buildings in a country of 24 million.
Canada: 31 buildings in a country of 36 million.

UAE is closer to 10 million though,I wonder how Guangdong would stack up if it was a independent state especially if it was to include Hong Kong and Macau. According to skyscrapercenter there is 120,200-299m skyscrapers to,com or uc in the pearl river delta, its 182 if we include Hong kong and Macau and this is not counting skyscrapers that are unknown to us or in preparation stage(perhaps hundreds more) . US total 200-299m skyscrapers is 183 by comparison.

Greater Guangdong has around 115 million people and roughly as many skyscrapers as the US with 320 million

Goyang, Hwaseong and Bucheon are all satellite cities of Seoul (with a population of about 1 million each).

As for the other cities, they are major provincial Korean cities. Daegu has a population of 2,5 million, Changwon and Ulsan of about 1 million, and Cheonan of only 600,000 or so.

Indeed, quite a lot of projects, especially given that they are quite a few projects above 300 meters as well. If you want updates, I keep track of all Korean projects in my signature. Don't hesitate to take a look.
