Check out the architect's interiors. They're like 70s psychedelic... on acid.

I totally love them though, way more than the outsides.

This blank wall in St. Petersburg, Russia has stemmed from the developer's desire to squeeze maximum of his plot as according to regulations a blind wall is allowed to be built closer to the adjacent buildings than any other kind of walls so this solution is implemented to expand the market capacity of the plot. The look of it, well... they could care less.

Fortunately the blind wall doesn't face any major street.

These types of buildings are worse than the Soviet blocks.

A shopping center in East Rutherford, NJ that's been sitting empty and idle for 10 years now. An eyesore that's plagued 2 governors now.

Communist really did damage people's sense of aesthetic. Most of the Eastern Europe pictures look like they could be taken in Vietnam.

There is literally nothing of design value to this building. It's just bland commieblock with kitsch plonked on top to attract gullible idiots who think that's all that's needed to make a building "look nice."

Or this. Zero aesthetic concept whatsoever. Purely a developer and not an architect job.

Private hospital "Philip II" in Skopje, Macedonia. Photos by me. I like the building, but the entrance part with the tympanum is just hideous.

The city of Tver, Russia
Obviously they wanted something in the likeness of The Bolshoi Theater in nearby Moscow

but at some point it sverved into a typical case of "provincial trash" as we brand such "architecture" in Russian
