Somewhere in Norway. Some ugly 2010 building who thinks they are from the 80/90s.
... yet another reason I am seriously considering moving to Norway. Even the unattractive buildings are stunning compared to anything in the UK. That would probably be a listed building in most new towns in Scotland. Come back when you have something like this:

http://www.glasgowarchitecture.co.uk...d280411_d2.jpg

And no, that's not an oil refinery or a shanty town built from scavenged U-Boat wrecks, it's a shopping centre, once billed as the future of architecture. Tbh I would welcome most of the buildings in this thread in my town, the novelty ones aren't really so bad, and even the kitch ones at least show some kind of effort.

Unfinished residential building, made in the 80's. Located in a small village in central Portugal. More photos here.

The photo i took in my last voyage to Prague in Czech Republic. What is surprising this building is on every tourist map set as a tourist atraction of Prague Well the city is beautiful but i cannot say it as well about the visual beauty of this one. What is interesting it has still offices for rent. :P

The public administration building in Skopje. So asymmetric and terrible in the same time. Real shame. Photos by me.

This is the kind of buildings that puzzle me. I don't think it's nice at all, of course it's ugly, but it could have been a lot worse

In Greece, Ancient Greek architecture is appreciated, but only when it is original. If someone attempts to incorporate Ancient Greek elements in a modern house, the results are rather kitschy:

Easily the ugliest work created by the overrated egotistical so called 'architect' Gehry.

Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters... This is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes.

Funny, because I really like it. Different strokes for different blokes, I guess.

One of the worst buildings that were built in the last 10 years in my hometown - Skopje, Macedonia. The main reason why it has this shape is to mask/cover the residential commieblock behind it. Few public institutions will have offices in there. The only solution for such monstrosity is a dynamite.

You don't have to be a basket case to work in Ohio, but it helps...

Someone actually approved this.

The smarty-covered Pinnochio cyclopse of Birminghmam, UK...

http://thebelieve-facts.blogspot.co....-in-world.html

This is what a gas chamber designed by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen would look like... But it is not that, but a building in Holland.

Why?
