It looks like render, not real building. Look at the car on the street, it's unreal.

Did someone really design this and was proud enough of it to send it to the contractor???

Thankfully this cardboard-looking building in Toronto is under demolition.

God.. I think this is a result of the client having already made up his mind on a design and just wanted the stamp of approval from an Architect, who wouldv'e been more than happy to take the easy money. So a win-win situation with only the city coming out as the biggest loser from this transaction.

Chop off the top bit and cover it in those one brick thick panels and it wouldn't look half bad.

Meet its Caribbean cousin. East Coast - Demerara, Georgetown, Guyana

Two houses in that "style" in the world is two too many.

Thankfully there are still some corners of the world too elegant for the vulgar McMansion and other nouveau riche follies to ever take hold, like the French Riviera...

Mougins

Oh my...

Cannes
Those arches...

Roquefort-les-pins

That's the Bulles House by Antii Lovag, an important example of Organic architecture. It is deliberately sculptural and artistic, not poor imitations like the others in this thread

It still looks like an octopus tentacle IMHO. I subscribe to "Death of the Author" when it comes to architecture; no matter how famous or influential the architect is, if the building is ugly it's ... well ... ugly.

The outside is a bit too gaudy/complicated for me, but I quite like the interiors.

In fact I like 95% of the posts here. I think of this thread as "interesting, unique designs out of the ordinary."
