I think this is cool, it has a very 80s vibe.

Probably one of the kitshiest hotels I've ever seen. It's located in Mavrovo, Macedonia. Real eyesore.

Look what has happened in Bulgaria... the building is from 2005 and it already has mismatched windows, air conditioners and satellite dishes.
And a freaking vinyl siding extension!! WTF??

Real shame. It was beautiful building before it gets urban tumor.

Lack of laws, or too weak local authorities. There are many similar cases in my country, and I am ashamed of them.

Suburban shopping mall style base with tiny windows, clad in faux stucco of the blandest possible beige, glass brick wall cutouts (for some reason), a Disneyland-style indian temple thing on top, with those clunky white UPVC window frames they put on every damn commieblock in Europe.

All that's missing is exposed air conditioners and satellite dishes.
Just WTF

The tower is GOOD, B-U-T just to around 45m. The rest look BAD, really bad, as a whole too.

They cancel that awesome futuristic three-wing skyscraper but they allow that to be built?

Yeah, exactly.
However, the 3-winged skyscraper was actually cancelled by the developer itself, because there was no market for it. I mean, a 360 metres tall skyscraper in the middle of an industrial area, with huge pollution and urban decay... It'd have remained empty. Furthermore, the land owners in the skyscraper area raised the price for selling the land a lot, when they heard a skyscraper was going to be built, and the deveoper couldn't afford it anymore.

The city administration was in favour of that skyscraper, because it'd have gentrified the polluted area a lot.

As for the "Hybrid" tower... Well, it's already a few stories high! I find it hideous, but it's in such a shitty area that I'd even have the shopping mall-pagoda built it there, provided they clean that place a bit

You guys think Eastern Europe is bad? Check out what "development" has brought to rural China these days.
