Just to add to that comment, isn't it the most isolated city of over 1 million in the world? There are possibly more isolated cities with less than that 1 million around.

true.. Perth is the most isolated city in terms of distance to the nearest city with a similar size.
Some say Honolulu is more isolated though it has a population of only about 350,000.

Having visited Honolulu, it feels bigger than 350,000 IMO.

Home is where the heart is. Too bad about the annoying boom-bust economy that scares off new projects. 8.5.

I took a long time to vote, I don't know why...

Perth is an example of an Ideal skyline, with a beautiful park, tall skyscrapers (not crowded), a highway passing trough. It looks too organized.

9.5/10

the current proposal for emu brewery are 160m x 2 and a 150m tower which would be at the western end of the skyline.

this shows concepts for the western foreshore redevelopment

and all the blue blocks are proposals or future proposals with the capital suare development on the left, can also see the construction of the southern suburbs railway near the freeway at the bottom of the picture and the site of the belmont park redevelopment in the far top right... on the pennisula (the green patch). thanks to citistar
