The Rotterdam 'Snerttram':



For those who don't know what 'snert' (or more popularly called 'erwtensoep') is: it's a thick soup made of green peas, usually with 'rookworst' (a thick, savoury sausage, usually in the shape of a 'U'). A real Dutch delicacy!

I think Nottinghams got the most impressive Trams in the UK.

Bordeaux, france, have the only tram in the world (it is not a cable car) that do not have aerial cables. This was made to preserve the classic XVIII century architecture of down town Bordeaux. I will show pictures if I found them

how good does this energy supply in bordeaux tram work?

It would be great if they could install it in my city, munich, too, I dont like that wire chaos in the sky.......

They have a third rail wich is only under electricity when a tram is above the part of the rail.

Only inside the old town!

In the rest of Bordeaux, the tram works with overhead wire, as usual.
