Other competition entries for the tower:

2nd place: nps tchoban voss

3rd place: Astoc

http://www.immobilien-zeitung.de/100...hieden,seite-2

I'm glad the winner is a lot more interesting, while the Tchoban Voss design certainly is very solid and timeless. Perhaps for another plot.

Definitely the right winner. The others are ok but in my mind a little bit to much what we have already seen in Frankfurt. Frankfurt needed something new now.

The best would be if they could start with construction this year already. but i guess we'll have to wait until 2015 at least.

Wow, after seeing the other designs we can be very happy. Would like to see the 2nd place somewhere in the banking district though. Looks kind of classy and fits well with the taunusanlage park and the more formal architecture over there. The current Marieninsel location would have been perfect. But the concreteheads had to come up with a bland office tower. Argh. Lets hope the former MAX area will see something like that rising. Maybe as a mixed use theme.

Frankfurt has built nice skylines, malls, hotels, residences, offices, urban developments over the last years.

Maybe the only city in Germany with many constructions at same time.

the proposed office tower around the corner will block the views of the messeturm though

It would be really cool to see a similar picture with the planned police hq (and the possible +200 meter office). It won't beat taunusanlage I think but it is getting very cool.

Actually it's great to see the cluster rising, with another 3 or 4 towers in waiting line.

Just fantastic!

Definately my #2 from all entries I've seen so far. It's just missing round corners.

this (although I'm not crazy about the lower part) should be built on the tower 1 plot, instead of the office tower, and of course with the planned 200m+...
