You are a lover of skyscrapers?

I have seen many cities in the world that do not build skyscrapers over 200 meters minimum, because they say it would look ugly this is the case of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay located in South America as an example there is forbidden to skyscrapers

montevideo or punta del este such a beautiful city and very close to the sea Resume with skyscrapers would look like dubai

because there are people who do not like to have skyscrapers in your city? 're one of them?

We wouldn't be here if we didn't like skyscrapers!

I'm really mostly attracted to "big cityness", mostly because the idea of having choices nearby. Skyscrapers embody all that. Having said that, there are only a few cities where the skyscraper district offers a lot of cityness at ground level...

I love skyscrapers and that was one of the reasons to move to Rotterdam (after accepting a job here first).
I also like all the amenities nearby and the view from the 22th floor.

Jan, would another name for "big cityness" be urbanity.

Wikipedia: People who can be described as having urbanity are also referred to as citified.

This is actually one of the things I have been looking at for the skyscraper dictionary. Urbanity seems to have a double meaning, first that of "urban life", second "suavity, courteousness, and refinement of manner". As such it partly covers the idea that density of many things allows you to have choices, or a trade in between freedom of space and freedom of choice.

Cityness is something I have looked at. Saskia Sassen has played with that term but mostly in a technical way, see here.

Metropolitaness kinds covers it but as a term it's a bit too long.
