puerto madero has almost 12 skyscrapers over 45 floors in one only block..and it has proyects like madero haurbour with 5 towers over 25 floors and zen city with 3 towers .. but .. the tallest in 2010 will be this ..with 57 floors :

In terms of arquitecture, building style,etc. Santiago by far is the most impressive. And they've got the Andes! But no skyline overwhelms and astounds you as Sao Paulo does.
So, in terms of general skyline, these are the cities with the most impressive skyline:
Sao Paulo and Santiago.

Nice pics you all!
For me it comes like this:
1) São Paulo. Skyscrapers everywhere you see.
2) Buenos Aires. Best architecture and urban scale.
3) Rio de Janeiro. No other city can cope with this scenary.

My ranking cities
Rio de Janeiro: ideal beach friendly buildings
Buenos Aires: Vanguardist design of skyscrapers
Sao Paulo: building up in the soup
Viña del Mar: beach, beautiful buildings, art
Asunción: picturesque town of promising designs
Montevideo to live
Santiago: Its ideal climate
Curitiba: Ecological city is very orderly
Belo Horizonte: Brazilian novels should in this promote city it has so many buildings as habitants
Bogotá: good location promising design of buildings
Caracas: if you saw an air of Bogota and Quito, but a little more developed
Quito: Quito mysterious sometimes I be coming to Transylvania (scared)
Lima: 3 or 4 buildings tall´s, and good skyline
Guayaquil: October boulevard nine of tall buildings
La Paz: a city that touches the sky
Salinas: Small Acapulco seeking its improvement
