Its a Semi Bus Rapid Transit service , with Bus lanes and pre-paided fares...

Is the SBS bus an express bus? Does it skip some stops or are the only benefits bus lanes and prepaid fares?

It seems like in the above picture that they scrapped the right lane of traffic and gave it to buses, but doesn't seem to be doing a lot of good. The traffic turning onto 125th St blocks the bus because the car is waiting to get into the left lane. Do you know if it is any faster with dedicated bus lanes?

Its like a light Bus Rapid Transit , it has designated stops with ticket machines...

The MTA's WI-FI Efforts seem to mainly be concentrated on it's subway system.

New Port Authority Bus Terminal would cost $8 to $10 billion

Beyond spending $90 million on short-term repairs involving passenger comfort and convenience at the aging Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, seen here, officials are planning an entirely new structure to address bus parking, circulation and other long-term issues. NEW YORK — If you think the $3.9 billion World Trade Center transportation hub sounds pricey, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Officials of the Port Authority of New York and New say replacing the aging and overcrowded Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan will cost an estimated $8 to $10 billion. Officials disclosed the cost estimate for the first time today, in advance of a staff presentation to Port Authority commissioners scheduled for Thursday's monthly meeting in Jersey City.
