You got to know that at least one quarter of my daily interest to come on SSC goes to this thread.

Those interiors are incredible. The association of material are beautiful (stones wall, etc.) and seems to make the houses not only interesting because of the space (how the volumes are made) but also because of the sensation of the materials (which is in my eyes as important as the spatial sensation itself).

The last photos are great, with the vintage T Bird parked out front. Vaguely off topic, in terms of the future was then, for anyone interested in Mid Century design, the 1955 noir 'Kiss Me Deadly' is worth a look. The protaganist, Mike Hammer, has a very cool, then, state of the art answering machine.
