If they will do that, still, the result will have real reflections too so the contrast definitely won't be that noticeable.

That's for sure. I'd still love if they really use different shades of glass it will make the tower appear even more vibrant.
Little off-topic, but the initial plan for the second WTC in New York by Foster had a lovely gradient from black towards dark blue and then light blue over the diamond crown. I love when architects use gradient glass for skyscrapers.

I cant believe Ive never noticed the grande arche doesnt align at right angles with the champs elysees because, well, why wouldnt it? now i hate it with a burning fiery rage jesus thats the most annoying thing ever.

That "misalignment" was made on purpose.

There is a misalignment with the same angle in the Palais du Louvre.
It was decided to let it come back in the alignment of the Grand Arche.

Something like that would look so great and truly avantgarde for beautiful Paris. The Hermitage towers look average for a city like Paris. Sorry, not sorry.
