Yay, more projects for qianhai. The plots are mostly all empty and cleared already, so this might get prep very fast. We will see. Where in the CBD will it be located?

By the way the first render is actually Leatop Plaza (303m), already built in Guangzhou. They're using it for the press release probably because the actual design is being designed by the same studio (Murphy/Jahn), just my opinion.

both announced at the same time or at least the first time we got the information was in these links in the first post naming both these hotels. if it gets built is another question. never heard of Ginza hotels before, not sure if they are strong enough to pull this off. we will see i guess.

This would be a very tall hotel indeed.

There's either a huge demand for hotel space that we didn't know about, or Ginza is making these proposals to get attention.

Well, there is a huge demand for high-end hotel space and this will only increase as Shenzhen gets more and more important internationally. Especially Qianhai will be extremely internatinal centered thus creating the need for thousands of additional hotel rooms.
