yeah its neat because it sits on reclaimed land, there's nothing around it. Totally starting off on a clean slate...

Not the newest pics , wanna share anyways. I found them at Bachy Soletanche's webside.

Diaphragm wall excavation adjacent to the CST ventilation shaft

Installation of reinforcement cages into the diaphragm wall

Excavation of a barrette pile with ORQ in the background

Barrette pile construction in full flow

24 hour working to ensure completion in accordance with the programme

Excavation for the basement & foundation cap under way

Excavation complete and the barrette pile cap reinforcement being laid

.
.
.

dont get me wrong, i like the Sail... but it starts getting boring, all the new buildings there are greenish.
I would like to see more colour variety.

In my view the dosage of glassy green helps counterbalance the white/grey/metallic feel that has characterized the skyline.

Green is also a pleasing colour and someone has even ventured to say is an auspicious colour as it evokes jade. But yeah for the next development which will be built to the left of the Sail, I hope for a contrast of colour.
