Looks a little like the proposed Dolphin Towers on the Gold Coast - except way bigger

The blocks are being removed once the load test has been completed.

The digging will start soon, probably have to treat the ground first as it is sitting on reclaim land. After digging up all the soft material, they will probably start putting in the foundation steel and the perimeter wall. It will probably take some time.

As I remember with One Raffles Quay, the ground work plus the foundation took more than a year. I used to go there during the early phase of ORQ, but it took always below ground. So i guess we just have to be patient!

yes the wait for Raffles Quay to rise off the ground took a LONG time!

but maybe its because the MRT tunnel ran underneath its footprint? Hopefully this will be faster...

Yeah...there was the MRT plus some stuff underground which needed to be taken care of. The Sail's site should be much cleaner in comparison, although thr mrt still cuts thru a corner of the site.

It looks JUST like the plans!

Glad to see that this whole project is underway and not just some pipe dream.
