Can't see any reason to reject it, other than it doesn't stretch far enough and could replace some more of the redundant crap fronting Bristol rd, just hope it doesn't effect the student tower block proposal for the former battery site, would love a decent tower there rather than a small block

I think there are still far to many family homes being used as student accommodation in Selly Oak and Edgbaston. Unless we see a drastic reduction in student enrollment, it should be ok.

Here's a photo I took this evening showing 778-800 Bristol Rd. Before they put the hoardings up you could see, looking into the shop windows, that they started demolition a few days ago at the back of the building.
