Yeah!!Renzo Piano fully understand the spirit of the MP district and pays homage both to the industrial history of the area and Marcel Brauer architect of the original Whitney.If you like flashy ask for Zaha Hadid:R Piano doesn't forget Sullivan:"form follows function"
Icing on the cake:the small chimneys like(AC)on top of the building that evoque a plant or NY's iconic water towers.Great job mister Piano!

20th/21st century American art. Currently has a fantastic Jeff Koons retrospective which I highly recommend to anyone in the NYC area.

Personally I like the new building, especially at night.

I like it too! I really like buildings that look super different from every angle.
