Been following this thread for a few weeks, thought I'd pop my nose in! I'm really looking forward to Thomson getting theirs over the next few weeks. According to another source, they are supposed to have two parked up in Manchester in the next fortnight. Great to see a thread dedicated to this wonderful new aircraft!

~~~~~~~~
The B-1 flight that was scheduled on the 10th of May didn't take place. It was again scheduled the last 2 days, also without success. Today it's 4th try, so hopefully this time it will succeed.
LN97 ZA513 JA819A ANA
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BOE513
~~~~~~~~

All things 787 comes with the news that today the 1st delivery will take place, with the fly out tomorrow. ZA512, LN 83, JA818A should fly to Tokyo tomorrow night Washington ime, but this hasn't been confirmed yet.

And tomorrow the ZA272, LN 86, SP-LRC should also be delivered to LOT with a flyout on Wednesday.

http://nyc787.blogspot.com/2013/05/u...eliveries.html

Hopefully the next couple of days will be the start of a delivery rush. There are already 40 787s waiting to be delivered, that's already 6 more then on the day the grounding was lifted. Next week that will already be 1 month ago, time goes fast.

That remains to be seen.

On the pictures on their website they are white:
http://aeromexico.com/us/ExperienceA...reamliner.html

But that was also the case for BA. I guess we have to wait until it's painted to know the answer.

ANA has reported that they had an electrical problem on one of the test flights, but that it wasn't battery related.

Quote:
ANA reports electrical panel fault on 787 test flight

(Reuters) - ANA Holdings Inc, the world's biggest operator of Boeing Co's 787 Dreamliner, reported an electrical panel fault during a test flight as it prepares its fleet for a return to service in June following a more than three-month grounding of the carbon-composite aircraft.

Engineers found discoloration on a connection on an electrical panel following a flight from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Sapporo on Japan's northern island of Hokkaido on May 4

Apparently a loose bolt was the cause of this problem. That was found on the JA809A, it was already noticed by the 787 followers that this particular plane didn't return to Tokyo after it's 1st test flight. It stayed on the ground in Sapporo before returning just the other day.

ANA has started modification on it's last 787, 12 are now test flying, 5 are in modification and the one that was delivered the other day arrived in Tokyo this morning.
