This is rather unexpected movement. LN73 LN79 ZA432 2nd frame built in Everett for Hainan moved from storage in tower apron to the flightline.

Interesting movement indeed.

I believe this one is LN79 instead of LN73.

It's been a while since the last B-1 flight from Everett, but today LN107 ZA514 JA821A ANA made it's maiden flight without any issues.
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BOE514

ANA skipped the delivery of this frame, and took delivery of 2 others with higher line numbers. But those were International configured planes and this is a domestic one. If this one is delivered it will be 1st time since the start of production that there is no ANA 787 waiting for delivery in Everett, either on the flightline, in the EMC or in storage. The next 2 will come from Charleston, hopefully ANA will give the workers there an easy delivery for a change. And after that will be the 1st 787-9 for ANA followed directly by 2 787-8s, then Everett will again have some ANA 787s.

ps. I'm not counting the early rejected frames that still have the ANA livery, so there will still be a hint of ANA in Everett the next couple of months.

So no more ANA's 787-8s after CHS deliveries until the 787-9. Wow. When can we expect the CHS deliveries for ANA? That will be at least a year before more 787-8s are delivered. So don't expect any international expansion from ANA.

No, there will be more 787-8 deliveries between the 1st ANA 787-9 roll-out and the delivery. Because the 1st 787-9 will be used for tests it will spend quite some time in Everett before delivery. There are already 3 787-8s with allocated assembly slots that will be delivered before the 1st 787-9. 2 of those will have a long-haul configuration, there's still room for international expansion.

I don't think anyone can say anything about any delivery dates from Charleston, there have been to few the last couple of months to make an educated guess. Although it looks like the VT-ANO will be delivered any day now, it was moved to the delivery center. But we have to see it fly out to be certain, it could just have been moved to make some place on the flightline.

2nd 787-9 after paint has been moved to 40-26 position 4.

LN28 ZA232 VT-ANC now repainted, moved again to EMC (outside position) for last touches.

source: https://twitter.com/mattcawby

Inside EMC is LN30 ZA233 VT-ANE, still not repainted (with ANC reg on hatch of front landing gear). Probably LN30 will be moved to paint hangar soon and LN28 will get inside EMC finishing jobs. These 2 frames are supposed to be delivered this year, with VT-ANB and VT-ANA deliveries in early 2014.

Oddly enough, VT-ANE was seen with engines attached in May.

I wonder, LN30 was lately seen inside the EMC, almost complete:

Maybe the one rolled out last night is LN30, re-registered as VT-ANC (there must be a reason why it had ANC painted on the front landing gear), which would mean LN28 is still inside the EMC.

I think they just placed it on VT-ANE due to part shortage or damage during rework process. It was scheduled for delivery earlier than VT-ANC. I cant see any reason to re-registering these frames now, Air India will take them all.

Is there going to be 797 and eventually 781 and so on or 800?

Ureshs updated chart. LN20 ZA175 JA821J after repaint has been moved inside EMC again, Bay C.
Air India's LN28 ZA232 VT-ANC outside EMC, LN30 ZA234 VT-ANE inside EMC, Bay AW.
Finally, last from Early Build (LN20 - LN29) moved to EMC, outside position. ANA's NTU LN22 frame will become ZA803 for Transaero Airlines.
It taking a lot of time to re-work these frames, LN30 has been moved inside in 2012, LN20 is now under change incorporation for over a year.

At the end of Wednesday there was a rush of 787 flight activity in Everett.

LN118 ZA540 CC-BBD LAN was the 1st 1st flight of the day,

LAN Airlines Boeing 787-8 CC-BBD by royalscottking, on Flickr

Followed by the 1st flight of LN121 ZA453 G-ZBJD British Airways, it had a wrong flight number though.

The 1st flight of the day was the LN107 ZA514 JA821A ANA that was out on a B-2 flight.
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BOE514

On the other side of the new continent there were 2 flights yesterday.

LN100 ZA385 B-2736 China Southern Airlines
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/B...1230/KCHS/KCHS

and

LN113 ZA539 CC-BBE LAN
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/B...315Z/KCHS/KMYR

So after a small pause the test flights have resumed in full again. Expect more the coming days with among others 1st flights for Jetstar, Royal Brunei & maybe even the 787-9.

The EASA approved the Trent 1000 Package C engines for the 787-9 yesterday.

LAN's terrible livery makes the plane look like it's from the 70's.

It's JAL frame, so delivery will be rather fast.
