The mystery of the MG Aviation seems to be solved. The company is owned by Jordache Enterprises, Inc. which was founded by the brothers Nakash.
http://www.jordachecorporate.com/2013/profile.php

There is one order on the Boeing orderbook for 2 787-9s that is listed as Nakash, which was placed in 2006. It's most likely this one even though this theory means that Arkia won't be getting the 787. Unless they are also behind the Unidentified December 2008 order for 2 787-8s and 13 787-9s (no engine selection). I've been wondering for quite some time about the identity of this mystery order.

I wonder which one has been moved inside now. LN22 or LN5. At this yesterday photo only one 787 is outside, and it is LN22 ZA803 (former ANA ZA115), so probably LN5 is now inside. I dont think LN22 will be waiting outside for long time - ZB197 789 should be rolled out to the flightline in January.

Delivery #60 for this year, this means that the bottom of the number of projected deliveries for 2013 has been reached. Last year there were 9 deliveries between the 19th and the end of the month. It won't be that many this year but 5 should be possible with a small change it will be a couple more.

This is 777-300ER. LN22 ZA803 is behind, outside EMC. You can see it under fuselage of 77W.

Matt posted 3 interesting photos from EMC.

LN147 ZA124 JA827A outside EMC. There is no 787 sign on the fuselage.

LN147 ZA516 JA825A. No sign too. I think LN140 ZA123 for ANA from CHS will be registered as JA826A. JA824A ZA515 is probably last one 787 for ANA with big 787 sign.

LN22 is outside, meanwhile JA827A is in position 1 outside EMC, where LN5 ZA005 N787FT was standing before. This probably means LN5 ZA005 was moved inside EMC and is undergoing now main part of change-incorporation/re-work process. I'm rather surprised, Boeing still has to re-work 8 frames for airlines, with LN22 for Transaero parked outside EMC for few months now (some work is probably done outside since then, but I dont think so they can do all work outside). So LN5 has sudden customer, maybe even airline (I dont think so Boeing will be pushing re-work of frame for VIP when airlines are waiting for frames).

LN149 ZA778 for BBJ. All white livery, the same as most of 748I for BBJ.

Take a closer look, the quote is referring to the B787 in the background directly behind the T7 nose gear!

I guess Buffalo got even more confused when I posted a reply about how massive it looks in the picture, I forgot to clarify I was refering to the 777, not the 787.

Are all AI flights to LHR operated by the 787? if so, that's a huge downgrade from 77W

The Mumbai are still operated by the 77W, but only until March when that flight will also be taken over by the 787.

It's a downgrade in capacity, but it's an upgrade for accountants. There's plenty of competition on the routes between London and India, there are 4 airline flying to Delhi and Mumbai directly plus the competition from the Gulf carriers. With the 787 Air India is finally making money on these routes.

The 77W will go to the India - US or other routes that were operated with the 77Ls that will now go to Etihad.
