They originally ordered the 787-8, it was converted to the 787-9 in 2012. As you can see the drawing was made in 2009, back then it was correct.

Engines reattachment on LN167 ZA266 ET-AOT. This frame has been inside EMC few days ago, so probably engines were removed for fix process.

Boeing delivered 10 787s in March, here's the breakdown.

The ILFC deliveries were for Aeromexico & Norwegian. Air Kenya took also took delivery of their 1st 787.

The 1st delivery for April also took place.

LN144 ZA471 A7-BCJ Qatar Airways is currently on route from Charleston to So California Logistics Airport in Victorville, California.

Next up for delivery should be the LN161 ZA275 SP-LRF LOT Polish Airlines, which is now in the air for a C-1 flight.

Air Kenya took delivery early. They were suppose to take delivery of their first one tomorrow. Why does Qatar fly their 787s down to Victorville before flying them to Doha? Is it some finishing site that cant be done at the factory? Can someone shed some light on that.

Victorville to Doha

wow...

VCV - DOH = 8251 miles over the pole
CHS - DOH = 7323 miles

Previous long passenger-less flight: CHS - BOM = 8435
(or do VT-AN* go to DEL?)

All of Qatar's 787s have gone to Victorville where Thales installs the IFE/Connectivity hardware.

A new possible customer for terrible teens has popped up.

Brazilian low cost airline Azul is in talks with both Boeing and Airbus for a possible wide-body order to start international routes before the 2016 Olympics.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-0...nd-brazil.html

They are specifically looking at the early 787s. It's the only way to get any 787s before 2016 and they will get them with a steep discount. Airbus will of course also offer a good deal, they have enough open A330 delivery slots in 2016. This gives Azul a good starting position to negotiate a good deal.

LN160 ZA610 C-GHPQ 1st 787 for Air Canada has been moved from the flightline to the EMC. From 18 assembled 788 frames only 7 are on the flightline. Others are still undergoing last works and wing fix And 2 from these are for China Southern, 1 for Air India and 1 for Hainan

LN146 ZB197 JA830A is now N1792B. Reregistration means that 1st flight is close.

LN157 ZA655 5Y-KZA delivery flight:
